We stand behind every piece we make. Our furniture is built to last—solid oak frames, natural linen, handcrafted joinery. We want you to feel confident bringing Stillform into your home.

30-Day Return Window

If a piece doesn't work in your space, you have 30 days from delivery to return it. We understand that seeing furniture in your actual room—at real scale, with your light and your other pieces—is different from photographs, even ours.

• Condition: Items must be unused and in original condition. Natural wear from careful inspection is fine; signs of use are not.
• What's included: Return shipping is covered by Stillform for defects or damage. For change-of-mind returns, return shipping is the customer's responsibility.
• Refund timeline: Once we receive and inspect your return, refunds process within 5–7 business days.
• Textiles and upholstered pieces: Must be returned unwashed and in unused condition.

To start a return, contact our team with your order number and photos of the item. We'll arrange pickup for larger pieces.

Lifetime Design Guarantee

Every Stillform piece carries a lifetime guarantee on structural integrity. If the frame, joints, or solid oak structure fails under normal use, we'll repair or replace it—at no cost.

This guarantee covers:

• Solid oak frame joints and mortise-and-tenon construction
• Structural failure of the base or legs
• Seat frame integrity on chairs and sofas

It does not cover:

• Natural material changes (wood grain shifts, linen color variation, patina development)
• Damage from misuse, accidents, or environmental extremes (prolonged heat, moisture, direct sunlight)
• Wear to upholstery, cushions, or textiles—these are consumable materials that age beautifully
• Modifications or repairs by anyone other than Stillform

To file a warranty claim, reach out with photos and details. We'll assess and advise on next steps.

Damage During Shipping

Our white-glove delivery partners inspect every piece before it leaves the truck. If something arrives damaged:

1. Document it: Take photos of the damage and the packaging. Don't discard the box.
2. Report within 48 hours: Contact us immediately with order number and images.
3. We handle it: We'll file a claim with the carrier and arrange repair or replacement at no cost to you.

For minor cosmetic damage to solid wood (small dents or scratches), we can provide touch-up guidance. For structural issues, replacement is our standard.

Care for Natural Materials

Stillform furniture is made to live with you—and to show the beautiful patina of time. Understanding how to care for solid oak and natural linen helps your pieces age gracefully.

Solid oak: Wipe spills immediately with a soft, dry cloth. Dust regularly. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, which can fade the wood. Oak naturally darkens and develops character over years—this is not a defect; it's part of the design.

Natural linen upholstery: Linen wrinkles, softens, and gains texture with use. Vacuum gently with an upholstery attachment. For spills, blot (don't rub) with cool water and a neutral cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals. See our full care guide for detailed instructions by piece type.

Joints and hardware: Check bolts and screws annually; tighten gently if needed. This is normal maintenance for handcrafted furniture.

Assembly & Delivery Support

We offer white-glove delivery with professional assembly for all pieces. Our team will position furniture, assemble as needed, and remove packaging. If you prefer to assemble yourself, we provide detailed instructions and video guides.

For US orders over $2,000, local pickup is available in select areas—a good option if you want to inspect the piece in person before taking it home.
